Pinhole Camera Process
For the Ocean Plastic Pollution Project I worked as sustainably as possible. Cardboard cameras were held together with some plastic tape. I reduced this as the project progressed. Coffee tins gave the best results and were the most sustainable.
The Development Process
The pinhole images were developed in the darkroom.
I made my developer using bladderwrack seaweed and fixed the images in sea slat water..
Chlorophyll Printing
Paper Making
Using shredded paper from my discarded printed sheets I made paper into which I embedded some microplastic pieces recovered from Sherkin Beaches.
